BRONSON, the brand new group by ODESZA and Golden Features, unveils their debut self-titled album on Foreign Family Collective / Ninja Tune. BRONSON is available on clear LP, limited edition black and yellow LP, and CD. GRAMMY-nominated duo ODESZA and acclaimed Australian producer Golden Features have come together to form the powerhouse group BRONSON. The self-titled album BRONSON pushes the soundscapes of their previous projects to explore the darker edges of dance music. The LP features heavyweight collaborations from lau.ra of Ultraista, Gallant, and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. The BRONSON album reflects on their respective needs to challenge personal struggles, both internal and external. Moreover, the trio recognized that their own battles were merely microcosms of the surrounding world. The hope was to craft a body of work that was reflective of that duality of lightness and darkness inherent to the human condition.
"W" was formed out of the need to give more space and a bigger voice to the women who have inspired Populous over the past few years, the women who continue to be part of his artistic and personal life. A tribute to the feminine and its countless facets, an album of sensual, dreamy, and uninhibited electronica. A calm counter to overtly masculine musical environments and an invitation to an ever-inclusive system.
Estereomance combines elements of soul, funk, electronic, pop, and jazz to create a charming romantic indie blend to represent the melting pot they're from. The debut self-titled album is a 7-song feel-good record that mixes multicultural influences to create a tasteful mix of vintage soul with modern bedroom pop. Available June 26th, the album is about discovering self-empowerment by overcoming life's struggles. It's about finding optimism by forgetting the past and looking up for the future.
Thievery Corporation's historic concert in 2017 at The JFK Center in Washington, D.C saw their songs re-imagined with orchestral arrangements from some of today's leading young classical composers. The show is now legendary, and those fortunate to attend heard Thievery Corporation in an entirely new way. To honor this show and inspiration it provided, Hilton and Garza have created Symphonik - recorded with Prague's FILMHarmonic Orchestra; engineering and co-production by Gianmaria Conti.
In their first collaboration, Brian and Roger Eno present an anthology of sonic inspiration. ‘Mixing Colours’ invites listeners into a prismatic world of calm contemplation. Based on a series of deliberately abstract colours, the innovative brothers evolved the new recording into a unique collection over the years. Their creative DG debut will reach an audience still unfamiliar with their artistry. The poetic set spotlights two celebrated ambient musicians at the height of their artistry.
In 2014, Dan Snaith aka Caribou released Our Love to overwhelming critical acclaim. Caribou returns now with his new studio album Suddenly, a warm, untamable, and constantly surprising record about family and the changes we go through as those relationships evolve. Most prominently, Suddenly refers to the moments of dramatic and unexpected change that occur at points in any life and within any family-universal themes that can catch you off guard and change your life in a heartbeat. Those dramatic moments are part of a slower process. These moments rear their heads, for good or bad, during the everyday flow of life. "There's a tension between those sudden things which blindside you and the more glacial, gradual day-to-day changes," he observes. "We are so caught up in the immediate-the details that require our attention every day-that we can be blind to the bigger forces shaping us. That's why so often when something drastic happens suddenly, it catalyzes all sorts of changes in our lives. Our perspective shifts." Suddenly is in the music, too. This is the most surprising and unpredictable Caribou album to date. Though it retains the trademark Caribou warmth and technicolor, this album is littered with swerves and left turns. "I wanted to balance the familiar-the sound that people associate with my music-against these moments of surprise," Snaith says. As his passion and joy in music-making remains as fresh as ever, Suddenly is the purest example of this yet.
With a hugely impressive over a million combined album sales and over a billion streams under their belt, Tycho are the Grammy-nominated electronic music project led by Scott Hansen as primary composer, songwriter and producer. Respected for both their musical output and Scott’s graphic design work, under the ISO50 moniker, Tycho has produced and released a hugely successful back catalogue which has drawn comparisons to the likes of Boards of Canada, Ulrich Schnauss and Jon Hopkins. The highly anticipated release of Tycho’s fifth studio album Weather is an exciting progression from his previous output, with most of the new tracks being vocal lead, while still retaining the signature Tycho sound. The sonic shift is enhanced by a collaboration with a young exciting new voice - vocalist Saint Sinner who will be joining the live band following her time in the studio. The release will see Mom + Pop partner for this exciting new chapter in the artist’s career.

Underworld and Iggy Pop announce Teatime Dub Encounters due for release on July 27th via Caroline. The 4 track EP is the result of a few clandestine hotel room recording sessions that began a few weeks after Underworld and Iggy Pop each released their last albums on the same day (3/18/16). It is neither historical nor a tribute to past work; it is the work of artists in motion, engaged in a process that they both bring to all of their work – one that uses spontaneity as a spur for creativity.
Brightons Go! Team return with new single Semicircle Song out on 1 December on long term label home Memphis Industries. Semicircle Song is taken from The Go! Teams new album SEMICIRCLE due 19 January. These are dark and difficult times. We dont need some chancer with an acoustic guitar and a series of concerned hashtags to tell us that. What we need is a band to believe in, who stand for something other than naked careerism, who give us a rock to cling to on stormy days. A band who still have faith in the power of pop music to transform the world, who dream in technicolour, who see beauty in the little things, who shun tepid perfection, who rejoice in the mistakes and the chance encounters that lead us somewhere new. Who remind us what it was like to be young and naive and idealistic and in love. Who throw everything into the pot to create music that is joyfully, effervescently alive. Now more than ever, we need The Go! Team. Its no secret that The Go! Team is the brainchild of one man, Brighton-based melody obsessive Ian Parton. But its membership has never been exclusive: at one time or another, The Go! Team has included on its squad-sheet everyone from Deerhoof to Chuck D to a legion of undiscovered Soundcloud singers. Unlike the groups previous album, 2015s The Scene Between which was essentially a solo project, following the dissolution of the previous Go! Team line-up Ian began work on their fifth album SEMICIRCLE with the vital input of current live band players Simone Odaranile (drums), , Angela Maki Won-Yin Mak (vocals and guitar) and original Team members Sam Dook (guitar) and Ninja (irrepressible rapping).
For the past two years, Nils Frahm has been building a brand new studio in Berlin to make his 7th studio album titled All Melody, which will be released on January 26th, 2018 via Erased Tapes, before Nils embarks on his first world tour since 2015. His previous albums have often been accompanied with a story, such as Felt (2011) where he placed felt upon the hammers of the piano out of courtesy to his neighbors when recording late at night in his old bedroom studio, and the following album Screws (2012) when injuring his thumb forced him to play with only nine fingers. His new album is born out of the freedom that his new environment provided, allowing Nils to explore without any restrictions and to keep it All about the Melody. Despite being confined within the majestic four walls of the historical East German Funkhaus, buried deep in its reverb chambers, or in an old dry well in Mallorca, All Melody is, in fact, proof that music is limitless, timeless, and reflects that of Nils own capabilities. From a boys dream to resetting the parameters of music itself. The cover art was taken by photographer Lia Darjes in Nils new studio and designed by Torsten Posselt at FELD. A series of these in-studio photos will be included in a booklet with the physical copy of All Melody.
Music For The Long Emergency is the collaborative album from Minneapolis-based electronic quintet POLIÇA and European orchestral collective s t a r g a z e. The two bands met for the first time in Berlin in 2016, and while the collaboration started in the same room, the process continued as an 18-month long ''ping pong'' match as the bands exchanged ideas and music over email, mp3 files, video conferencing, and the occasional meet-up in Berlin, Minneapolis, and Eau Claire. Both bands were adamant that whatever they created ''not just be POLIÇA songs with s t a r g a z e pasted on top,'' as POLIÇA vocalist Channy Leaneagh puts it, and the end result is the most adventurous and forward-thinking music either group has made to date.

New Order have announced a new live album, NOMC15, recorded at Brixton Academy in 2015 following the release of their most recent studio LP (and Mute debut) "Music Complete". It features a set consisting of tracks from the new album, as well as cuts from their back catalog and songs by Joy Division.
Vault is a collection of rare, previously unreleased songs that up until now have never been heard by anyone except STRFKR. The band only exists today because of these recordings. Some of these songs were written for STRFKR albums, some were written before or in-between, but they all played a role and influenced what was released under that name.
Is That Light You Carry? is the debut record from Third Culture Kings, a new project led by Jan Johansen (Glorybox) and Alap Momin (dälek). Filtering classic vibes through modern interpretation, 3CK reimagine The Velvet Underground or Leonard Cohen if they had been mixed by King Tubby and Afrika Bambaataa all the while incorporating influences as diverse as Indian drone, early 80’s synth pads and Miami booty bass. Still, it’s worth noting that there’s nothing about these recordings that’s rooted in the past: nearly every sound on the record - sans lead vocals and guitar - were created or recorded directly to an IPhone. Momin created the beats, bass and majority of synth lines on his device, while Johansen then recorded backing vocals, second guitar, vibraphone, piano, horns, rhodes, and melodica as voice memos that were eventually dropped on top of the finished tracks.
There are few acts claiming to channel Vangelis and Suicide at the same time, and even fewer that also shout out their love of Doo Wop, UK Bass, and Chicago House in the same breath, but this international duo manage to strike all those notes and more. Veteran performers who’ve outlasted endless trends and toured the world for the better part of the last two decades, Third Culture Kings aren’t afraid to stretch the boundaries of style. The eclectic, yet cohesive group of songs in their live shows complement bills featuring everything from shoegaze to commercial R&B.
Mareridt (translation: Nightmare) is the highly anticipated sophomore full-length from renowned Danish composer and multi-instrumentalist MYRKUR. Recorded between Copenhagen and Seattle with producer Randall Dunn (Marissa Nadler, Earth, Sunn O))), Boris, Wolves In The Throne Room), Mareridt is a rich juxtaposition of the dark and the light; the moon and the mother earth; the witch and the saint. MYRKUR explores deeper into the mysterious and the feminine with 11 tracks that further progress her visionary blend of metal with gorgeous, stirring melodies, dark folk passages, choral arrangements and superb, horrific beauty. Further taking MYRKUR to new artistic heights are lyrics in multiple languages, an unforgettable collaboration with Chelsea Wolfe and an array of special instrumentation including violin, mandola, folk drums, nyckelharpa (an ancient Swedish key harp), and Kulning (an ancient Scandinavian herding call). Mareridt is a profound manifestation of nightmares that demonstrates MYRKUR as one of the truly exceptional artists of our time.
Kllo, an electronic pop collaboration between Melbourne cousins Chloe Kaul and Simon Lam, waded in figurative backwater for much of 2016, amidst an extensive world tour. These were exciting times; the duo's Well Worn EP furthered the promise of 2014 EP Cusp, receiving millions of streams and landing Kllo on festival stages as well as Artists-to-Watch lists. Nonetheless, the stretch kept them far from home, isolated and vulnerable, treading through perpetual uncharted territory while yearning for the comforts of the familiar. Kllo have officially come out the other end of the stilted estuary with twelve compositions cultivated to feel timeless and crafted, and equally current. The duo’s debut full length - and their most realized work to date - Backwater celebrates the ephemeral and the enduring changes in emotion, the downfalls and the dissolves. It’s an album that parts course with its flow, and flourishes in a lowland.
Skinny Puppy exploded onto the electronic industrial music scene with 1984’s Remission, fusing elements of new wave, techno dance, film noir, and innovative sampling. Lead by cEvin Key and Nivek Ogre, the band quickly garnered an international fanbase and followed up their new success with 1985’s Bites, which produced their first underground hit, “Assimilate.” Restored to their original track listing and design, Remission and Bites are now available on vinyl for the first time in over 25 years.
AMERICAN DREAM is the long awaited fourth album from LCD Soundsystem. The album is available digitally, and on CD and LP.
The first two singles released from the album are "call the police" and "american dream," that moved Pitchfork to rave the songs "couldn't sound timelier" and that "Murphy and company have never sounded so invigorated." The New York Times hailed "call the police" as "a quietly ambitious protest song… except that instead of searing, it motors," and Noisey embraced "american dream" like "a warm blanket." The band debuted both of these tracks on a May, 2017 appearance on Saturday Night Live. The next track and video that followed is "tonite."
